Rahab arrived from Nairobi this morning to help me with the final interviews for 2018. We’ve accomplished what we set out to do and for that, we are truly thankful. The Class of 2018 has been selected and now we can only wait to see what God will do through these young lives. I wish you could all have seen the grateful faces that surrounded us along the way. Many of the stories we’ve heard have broken our hearts, but these girls are courageous, hopeful and strong and they desire better for themselves and for their peers. We celebrate the potential of these young women; we celebrate their tenacity against the odds life has thrown at them, and we celebrate their dreams as well. Some want to be teachers, pilots, doctors, civil engineers, electrical engineers, lawyers, tour operators and so much more. Let us together, continue to pray for them and for their parents and guardians.
Now the work begins. These are God’s children, created in his image. Esther’s Hope Ministries cannot do this alone and so we ask you to share the story of our mission with your family, friends and business partners; share the blogs as well so that together we can help build a better world, one child at a time. Here are the faces you’ve been praying for; our Class of 2018!
