Heather Boswell
Heather has spent over 20 years in the nonprofit sector working alongside communities and organizations to create meaningful, lasting change. As Principal and Founder of SuccessStone Strategies, she supports programs and public agencies in designing strategies that sustain and promote equity, opportunity, and long-term impact. Heather is deeply committed to helping individuals and families thrive and is honored to be part of Esther’s Hope Ministries’ mission and programs that foster change at a global level.
She is inspired by the principle, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).
Nicole Cheeks
Nicole is the owner of a small bookkeeping company with a primary focus on small nonprofit organizations. Nicole was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work and uses the degree to facilitate parenting classes to single mothers in the Kent County area. Nicole is married with three adult children and seven grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling with her husband, and trying new recipes.
Nicole's favorite verse is Philippians 4: 6-7 – "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Sally Mwangi
Sally is a cultural broker working with refugees being resettled within Treasure Valley in Idaho. She works with service providers in medical, legal and social service settings. Sally was raised in Kenya and served as a banker with a major international bank. She also worked on several other teams within the bank including, the IT systems implementation team, the training and member support team, and the financial and product sales team.
Sally, an alumni of Boise State University, now lives in the USA with her spunky daughter. She enjoys the parental challenge of mixing and matching the western and Kenyan paradigm into one that works for both of them. Sally enjoys cooking and sharing authentic ethnic meals with friends, old and new. Sally loves to worship and make a joyful noise to the LORD. She anchors her life on Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear not, for I am with you….”
