Sally Mwangi

Sally is a cultural broker working with refugees being resettled within Treasure Valley in Idaho. She works with service providers in medical, legal and social service settings.  Sally was raised in Kenya and served as a banker with a major international bank.  She also worked on several other teams within the bank including, the IT systems implementation team, the training and member support team, and the financial and product sales team. 

Sally, an alumni of Boise State University, now lives in the USA with her spunky daughter.  She enjoys the parental challenge of mixing and matching the western and Kenyan paradigm into one that works for both of them.  Sally enjoys cooking and sharing authentic ethnic meals with friends, old and new.  Sally loves to worship and make a joyful noise to the LORD.  She anchors her life on Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you….”
